Third Thursday Organ Interlude Schedule Flyer 2017-2018

Third Thursday Organ Interludes are monthly midday organ concerts sponsored by St. Joseph Catholic Church and made possible through the generosity of a donor. The season runs October through May, with the exception of March, when concerts are held daily at Mulberry St. United Methodist Church as a part of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Although all concerts are free of charge, donations are welcome and are given to support St. Joseph Catholic Church Vision 20/20 Project.   Offering baskets are at the entrances to the church.

Lunch is available after each program for $10 per person and is catered by Michael’s on Mulberry

 About the Instrument

The current organ is a 53-rank Schlicker, installed in 1986, under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Fletcher Anderson, who was organist/choirmaster at that time.  It replaced (and retained a small number of ranks from) the original 1903 Pilcher.
